Val Babajov is an entrepreneur and angel investor with three decades of software development and business management experience. He is the founder and the Managing Partner of VoiVoda, a company whose mission is to offer assistance with raising angel investments and engineering resources for technology startups. Val calls this methodology - Bootstrap Venture Engineering. Babajov firmly believes that this is the way to promote the success of the tech startups he invests in. Babajov is CEO of Partners 1993 Inc., (active now) and also President of ClimateMinder (active now), a VoiVoda portfolio company, focused on wireless solutions for agriculture.

 

Prior to this Babajov was CEO of WebMessenger, Inc. (sold in 2008). Val Babajov led the growth of a diverse portfolio of successful software products, including some of the world's first Computer Telephony IVR systems; fax-over-Internet applications; the EarJam MP3 digital media player and back-office server; an Internet radio player for the Upside Financial Network; a richly-featured voice-over-IP client; real-time software to help surgeons monitor patients during surgery; and WebMessenger, an enterprise-class, hosted, mobile instant messaging service. Babajov is active angel investor and works with the Band of Angels, Tech Coast Angels, Pasadena Angels, Keiretsu Forum Angel networks.

Avgustina graduated in 2010 from the American University in Bulgaria with double major Business Administration and Journalism and Mass Communications. Her interests are towards online marketing and advertising, search engine optimization and marketing strategy. Avgustina is responsible for increasing the existing portfolio of technology startup companies by establishing and maintaining partner relationships in Europe.
